Memory Monday: Vintage D.C., gardens and landmarks
Some of the photos from this class trip in the late 1940s are difficult to make out, so I’m glad there are short notes for many of the images written in the margins of the photo album. Today’s pictures include a trip to the National Zoo, the Pan American Union Headquarters, and the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America.
