Saturday market
Here are some more colorful items I found as I wandered around at Denio’s flea market in Roseville. Even the bits and pieces I can’t identify are still fascinating!
I wish I had managed a better shot of the lovely drawing above. It looks to me like a captain sitting by the wheel of his boat and smoking a long-stem pipe; he seems to have a nice pipe collection on the shelf behind him. I was only able to grab this image by leaning over another pile of stuff and and shooting it upside down!
My shot is a bit blurry and has reflections showing in the glass, but I like this black-and-white framed photograph because I believe it shows the Golden Gate before construction of the bridge. I think I can see Fort Point at the tip of land on the right, with Marin on the left.
