The Adventure Continues… Hidden Gems

When I chose to feature this hour-long episode of Visiting (original air date April 1998) I had no idea that, in addition to the two segments described below, it actually contained a surprise at the end — a couple of extra hidden gems from Huell’s 1998 Videolog series. I especially enjoyed seeing the hike into the San Gabriel Mountains near Mt San Antonia (north of Azusa), where Huell discovered the “Bridge to Nowhere.” If that’s not enough, he also learned about the history of the city of Pomona — once known as the Queen of the Citrus Belt. You might say this episode has a little bit of everything!

Join Huell as he finds some of LA’s best-hidden museums. First we stop at the William Andrew Clark Memorial Library, a rare book research library associated with UCLA, then it’s onto the Hancock Library at USC.
