Fifteen days in 15 pictures

I’m sure I’ve said it before: road trips can be fun, but they really seem to take a lot out of me. Yesterday morning I started working on a regular Wednesday-series post but never managed to finish it. So I decided to save it for next week, and today I’ve got a few images from our trip. Most of them were shot along the road as the Big Guy was driving, and the reason there aren’t more of them is that I did a fair bit of driving in my turn.

Tucumcari, New Mexico

Sunrise after a stormy night, Emory, Texas

Gainesville, TX

Nocona, TX

Must be a parade somewhere — Memphis, TX

Shouldn’t that be “venomous”?? — Lupton, Arizona

At the Meteor Crater in Arizona

Pausing at Cataract Lake outside Williams, AZ

Downtown Williams, AZ

Still a long way to go, but it feels like home!
