I accidentally interrupted somebody’s breakfast this morning during my hike. After a minute or two, he decided he’d rather dine alone and moved around to the other side of the tree to finish his meal.
This spot along Hinkle Creek was a wonderful place to sit on a log and enjoy the shade on a warm July morning. I was only sorry I couldn’t stay longer — but I had a long hike ahead of me before I reached home. This bridge was built by volunteers, with donated materials.
