Over at the coast, I saw (and heard) quite a lot of Song Sparrows chirping brightly amid the shrubby areas near sea cliffs. Even a foggy morning didn’t slow them down; it was fun watching them busily foraging and throwing back their heads to sing their songs.
These are just a few of the animals we’ve spotted lately in and around Gerstle Cove.
Blustery northwest winds along the California coast have been putting a bit of a damper on my outdoor photography plans this week, but I did find some birds today on my morning walk. Hopefully things will calm down a little before long.
