Alcatraz is probably one of the most famous (or infamous) of the world’s small islands; but it’s not the only island in San Francisco Bay. If I had to choose to see only one of these two, I would have had no problem at all choosing Alcatraz! But that was before watching this episode of California’s Gold and learning about the rich cultural history and the natural beauty to be found on Angel Island. It’s definitely another one of California’s treasures!
