WPC: Place in the World

Folsom Lake at Rattlesnake Bar
The Daily Post Weekly Photo Challenge for the week of May 9, 2018.
Where do you belong? In the hustle and bustle of a big city or amongst friendly faces in a small town? For this week’s challenge, show us your place in the world.
I don’t live in a big city, although sometimes traffic jams and noisy neighbors can almost make it feel like one. When I feel myself getting too stressed, the best thing I can do is find a trail and take a good, long hike. Lake Natoma is within walking distance, and Folsom Lake just a short drive away. Out here, I can catch my breath and regain my perspective. This my place in the world.
