Remember December
I rather like the photo feature on my phone that reminds me of pictures I took in previous years on the same date. Sometimes they are images I scarcely remember, and it takes me a few minutes to remember where I was and why I took them. Clearly, when you shoot a lot of photos only the really special ones stand out from the crowd. But it’s also easy to overlook something that’s cool in a more subtle way. Today I spent time looking through some of my shots from December 2016 and 2017. And even though we’ve had quite a lot of sunshine and warm weather so far this year, the weather outside my window at the moment doesn’t look very different from these pictures, all of which were shot in the area around Negro Bar State Park.
