The Adventure Continues… Lassen

On Monday I showed you some images of the Cascade Range in central Washington State; today, we have a look at the area around Mount Lassen, which is at the southern end of the Cascades and the northern end of the Sierra Nevada. I’ve never explored this part of Northern California, and until I watched this episode of California’s Golden Parks I never realized Lassen had erupted as recently as 1915. Lassen Volcanic National Park is a remote, beautiful, and fascinating spot that is always evolving thanks to the geothermal activity underneath the surface.

Huell goes National in this episode of California’s Golden Parks as he visits Lassen Volcanic National Park. Lava flows, jagged craters and steaming sulphur vents make up some of Lassen’s breathtaking landscape.
