I’m continuing my look back to September 2022 which I began yesterday, and today’s post includes images from Black Point Beach in Sea Ranch  and Gerstle Cove near Salt Point (Sonoma County) and  the Point Arena Lighthouse (Mendocino County). This was really one of the nicest coastal trips we’ve had, and I would be very happy to spend more time in and around Sea Ranch. Although our rented cabin wasn’t very large, it was comfortable and somewhat secluded; we saw several deer along the adjoining road and even caught a glimpse of a grey fox sniffing around on the deck outside one evening (I previously shared my somewhat blurry image a little over a year ago; it’s the sixth image from the top). And it should go without saying, but it’s always a good day when you spot a banana slug along the trail!
