These days you’ll find a lot of vineyards in other parts of California, but Napa is still a strong wine-producing region. Still, as Huell has said, there’s so much more to this beautiful Northern California county. I’ve never spent much time in the Napa Valley, but my short visit to the Calistoga area last May was a super fun experience. And of course we always enjoy the rural beauty of eastern Napa County that includes Lake Berryessa, Pope Valley, and the small community around Middletown. Huell visited Napa in 2010, not long after the opening of a new eatery by Masaharu Morimoto, known as the Iron Chef, and the restaurant is still going strong today.

Huell visits the small city of Napa, which is nestled in the heart of California’s world famous wine growing region. The cities riverfront has gone through a major facelift and Huell spends the day getting a tour. From the Opera House, to the public art to the beautiful open space that grace this amazing new complex, Napa is on the cutting edge of redevelopment
