Once a house
Not too long ago I shared some of my previously unseen images from two abandoned luxury homes on the bluff above Manchester Beach in Mendocino County. I had intended to finish off the series sooner, but anyway, here is the final group of photos, mostly focusing on the more southern of the two structures. I’m not sure how long these houses have been abandoned, but when I visited in February 2025 there was still enough of the skeleton left to let me imagine some details like the entry hall, the brick fireplace, and a sliding glass door facing the ocean.
