Birds in springtime

This morning we managed to find a spot out at Folsom Lake where very few other people were hiking, and the birds were in abundance. The best part was that, with no boats on the water and minimal vehicle traffic on the roads, it was possible to fully enjoy the sounds of nature on this warm spring day.
