The theme for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge this week is Patterns. I decided to play around with a kaleidoscope and see what sort of crazy patterns I could find along my street.
These brilliant flowers nearly leaped out at me as I passed by them on a cold and rainy day! I wasn’t sure my camera would accurately capture the rich red-orange of their petals, so I tried a few different angles to make sure and get it just right.
This week I got a case of “spring fever” and spent the last couple of days reorganizing my craft room/office. Today the weather was cool and overcast so I went for a walk around the neighborhood, and I couldn’t resist shooting some of the gorgeous roses I saw blooming at various locations. I just love these colors — and luckily they are easier for my camera to render more accurately than the deep red ones I often stop to admire.
