As I look over the time stamps of the photos I shot at Bruhel Point, it’s hard to believe we were there for only an hour! As soon as I got out of the car, I knew I was going to like this spot right away. I could see the ocean, and the trail that led down the hill was lined with an incredible number of wildflowers, with butterflies and small bees flitting everywhere. It was almost too good to be true! I’m not sure if the Big Guy will want to return here to fish; we were there at low tide so he reserved judgment on whether it was a good spot to find rock fish. But I’m definitely ready to go back, especially in the springtime.
