Along the Bobcat Trail

One of the very best parts about our recent stay at The Sea Ranch cabin was the private network of trails winding through the neighborhood. Houses are constructed to blend in with the natural environment, with plenty of undeveloped buffer zones; so it was possible to wander among the redwood trees and barely notice any structures. I also never ran into another person the entire time I was on the trails. I enjoyed my hike so much I decided, very ambitiously, to make the trek down to Black Point Beach from the top of the ridge (around 800 ft elevation) and back up again. Yes, I was stiff and sore the next day, but it was so worth it.
